Happy Birthday, Aunt Katie!!

Today is my Aunt Katie's birthday!!
She and I are good friends.

I made her a card today. She lives a long ways away.

I'm so sad that I can't bring her card to her in person!!

I hope she has a good birthday anyway. I love you, Aunt Katie!! I'll can't wait to see you at Christmas!!

Love, Brooke

What's been going on?

Well, it's been a while since we've had time to blog. My work has been crazy and Darren has been traveling a lot. We've been busy this month. We've hung out with Nana and Aunt Kim.

We've hung out with our friends.

Darren took the peanut bike accessory shopping.

Brooklyn is trying her best to get up on her hands and knees these days. Once she figures out how to crawl, we're going to be in trouble!!

We also visited Grandpa Chilton for his birthday, and hung out with him and Grandma Mary.

Now you are all caught up!! Stay tuned!! With Halloween coming up the next couple of days, I'm sure there will be more to follow shortly!!

7 months old!!

Our little peanut sure is getting big! Last Friday at the doctor's office she weighed 17lbs, 13oz and was 28" long!! Here are a few of her 7 month old bear pictures. She is a lot more wiggly these days, so posed pictures are getting a little more challenging!! :)

First Tigers Baseball Game

Brooklyn went to her first Detroit Tigers baseball game tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays. We took a family picture in front of the giant tiger in front of Comerica Park.

Brooklyn rode the big Tiger Merry-Go-Round with her dad.

We took lots of pictures in the stadium. Here are a few of our favorites.

The #23 ranked Tigers beat the #3 ranked Tampa Bay Rays, 4-3.

After Friday and Saturday night games, fireworks are set off from the field. It was a great show! Brooklyn watched in awe while Darren kept her little ears covered.

Do you see the smiley face?

Our little tiger was worn out. She was such a good little girl!

You can also see our little cat at www.tigers.com/fanfoto (Sept. 27th game, Gallery 3, pictures 5/6, and Gallery 13, pictures 19/20.)

Happy Belated Labor Day

Things have been busy around here lately, including a visit from Mimi, Opa, and Aunt Katie. Aunt Katie was here for two weeks, and Mimi and Opa were here for a week. We grilled out for holiday, then Mimi and Opa went to Mackinac Island, and then Brooke took her first trip to the Greenfield Village, with lots of hanging out with Aunt Katie in between. It was such a great visit! Thanks for making the trip to see us!
