Friends and Family Weekend

We had a nice Friday and Saturday with friends and family.

Friday we went to the AutoShow with Ashley and Kelly, and Saturday we spent time with Darren's dad.

Both couples got sitters for the girls and we enjoyed two meals and the AutoShow - kid free!! It was so weird not to have a baby and a diaper bag with me and to actually have adult conversation. I had forgotten what warm food tastes like. We had lunch at Sweetwater Tavern in Detroit - the best wings and seasoned fries on the planet! And then on to the AutoShow.....

We had Carne Asada at Cafe Habana in Royal Oak. Fantastic!!

Darren's dad came to visit us and the peanut on Saturday. We went and strolled around the mall for a while and then we came back and hung out at the house.

Two peas in a pod. Darren helped his dad set up a Scype account and we were able to call and say "hi" to Brooklyn's aunt Kim in Chicago. Way cool!!

Now we're all caught up again. :)

10 months old!!...plus a little extra

Here are the 10 month old pictures with our favorite bear. I took them last night, but didn't have time to get them on the blog. She is wearing one of her new dresses from Christmas...she wasn't a huge fan of the hat, but we still managed to get a few cute pictures between taking the hat on and off.

(No babies...or bears, were harmed in the taking of these photos. :) )

We've had a busy weekend. On Friday, Brooklyn and I went to Nate's birthday party,

.... and then yesterday, Brooklyn took her first trip to IKEA.
