Saturday 6/21/08 - Darren and I went to our friends', Rich and Missy's, wedding. It was a lovely ceremony and a very nice dinner with some of our favorite company.

Sunday 6/22/08 - We all went to visit Darren's family in Battle Creek. Brooklyn was happy to see her Nana (grandmother) and Nani (great-grandmother)

Monday 6/23/08: The three of us went to the Sigma Gamma Fireworks Picnic. It is a fundraiser for The Detroit Institute for Children - that's where I work. Brooklyn won a handknit sweater in the silent auction. She wore protective ear muffs for the fireworks show just in case the loud noises were too startling, but she didn't seem to mind them at all.

Love the earmuffs! I am glad that you guys had fun at the fireworks. One of these years we will venture out and go see them. Dan has never been because he said he does not want to get shot!
