Bay View 2008

The Chiltons and our friends, the Harrisons, headed to Bay View (a small community next to Petoskey) this weekend. Darren's aunt and uncle have a beautiful cottage there, and it is by far one of my favorite places in Michigan.

We left late Thursday night and came home Sunday afternoon.

We enjoyed some time relaxing ....

The girls did a little shopping....

We took some cute family pictures and pictures of Brooklyn and Ella. One evening we were able to catch the sunset over Lake Michigan. The weather this weekend was awesome!!

We can't wait to go back!! Thanks Jennifer and Dempsey, we had a great time!!

5 months old!!

Another month has gone by and Brooke continues to make us laugh and smile. She is such a little sweet pea! We thank God every day for blessing us with such a sweet little girl!

Zootime!!

We took a family trip to the zoo this weekend. It started out well - we renewed our zoo membership, strolled through the butterfly garden and aviary, walked past the fountain....and then she was out! Oh well - I guess someday we will actually make it to the animals! However, she was quite excited to see that her mom and dad didn't leave the zoo without picking her up a few souveniers from the giftshop to remember her first trip.We also picked up a couple of other fun tricks this weekend. We occasionally try to use all of our extremities to hold our bottle...

....and we have discovered how to stick our tongue out and blow bubbles! What a ham!!
